This Shipping Policy explains how products are shipped through ParsaFood Global ("ParsaFood Global", "ParsaFood", "we", "our", or "us") and defines the responsibilities of Buyers, Suppliers, and ParsaFood Global regarding international shipments.
By placing an order or using our Marketplace, you agree to this Shipping Policy.
1. General Information
ParsaFood Global is an international B2B marketplace and trade service provider.
Shipping arrangements vary depending on whether:
- the Buyer purchases directly from a Supplier; or
- ParsaFood Global acts as the Seller or Trading Intermediary.
2. Direct Buyer-Supplier Transactions
Where products are purchased directly from a Supplier:
- the Supplier is solely responsible for preparing and shipping the goods;
- the Supplier is responsible for export documentation unless otherwise agreed;
- the Buyer is responsible for complying with import regulations in the destination country;
- ParsaFood Global is not the carrier and is not responsible for transportation or delivery.
ParsaFood Global may assist with communication or logistics coordination but assumes no responsibility for shipment performance.
3. Transactions Managed by ParsaFood Global
Where ParsaFood Global expressly agrees in writing to act as the Seller or Trading Intermediary, shipping arrangements will be made according to the applicable commercial agreement, quotation, invoice, and agreed Incoterms®.
4. Shipping Methods
Depending on the transaction, shipments may be transported by:
- Sea Freight
- Air Freight
- Rail Freight
- Road Freight
- Multimodal Transportation
- Courier Services
The shipping method depends on the nature of the products, destination, commercial terms, and customer requirements.
5. Shipping Documentation
Where applicable, shipments may include:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Certificate of Origin
- Bill of Lading
- Air Waybill
- Health Certificate
- Phytosanitary Certificate
- Inspection Certificate
- Export Declaration
- Other documents required by applicable law.
Required documentation may vary depending on destination country and product type.
6. Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are provided for reference only.
Actual delivery depends on numerous factors including:
- production schedules;
- shipping availability;
- customs clearance;
- inspections;
- weather conditions;
- port congestion;
- transportation providers;
- government actions;
- force majeure events.
ParsaFood Global does not guarantee any specific delivery date unless expressly agreed in writing.
7. Customs Clearance
Buyers are solely responsible for:
- import permits;
- customs duties;
- import taxes;
- VAT or GST;
- customs brokerage fees;
- local regulatory approvals;
- product registration requirements in the destination country.
Failure to obtain required approvals shall not create liability for ParsaFood Global.
8. Risk of Loss
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the transfer of risk shall be determined by the applicable Incoterms® agreed between the contracting parties.
After the agreed transfer of risk, ParsaFood Global shall not be responsible for:
- loss of cargo;
- theft;
- damage during transit;
- transportation delays;
- storage charges;
- demurrage;
- customs actions.
9. Inspection Before Shipment
Where agreed, Buyers may arrange independent inspections before shipment.
Inspection services coordinated by ParsaFood Global do not constitute a guarantee of product quality or future condition.
10. Delayed Shipments
ParsaFood Global shall not be liable for delays caused by:
- Suppliers;
- shipping companies;
- customs authorities;
- inspection agencies;
- ports;
- airlines;
- freight forwarders;
- weather conditions;
- sanctions;
- strikes;
- force majeure.
11. Partial Shipments
Where commercially reasonable, orders may be shipped in multiple consignments unless otherwise agreed in writing.
12. Storage Charges
Where shipments cannot be delivered due to Buyer-related circumstances, including failure to provide documentation or complete customs procedures, any resulting storage, warehousing, demurrage, detention, or related charges shall be the Buyer's responsibility.
13. Shipping Insurance
Cargo insurance is not automatically included unless specifically requested and confirmed in writing.
Buyers are encouraged to obtain appropriate cargo insurance for international shipments.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ParsaFood Global shall not be liable for:
- delayed deliveries;
- damaged goods;
- lost cargo;
- customs inspections;
- customs seizures;
- transportation failures;
- regulatory restrictions;
- carrier negligence;
- Supplier delays;
- Buyer delays;
- indirect or consequential damages.
Where liability is established, the maximum liability of ParsaFood Global shall not exceed the service fees actually received by ParsaFood Global for the specific shipment.
15. Policy Updates
ParsaFood Global reserves the right to amend this Shipping Policy at any time.
The updated version becomes effective immediately upon publication on the website.
Continued use of the Marketplace constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
