This Payment Policy governs all payments made through or in connection with ParsaFood Global ("ParsaFood Global", "ParsaFood", "we", "our", or "us").
By placing an order, requesting services, or using our Marketplace, you agree to this Payment Policy.
1. General Principle
ParsaFood Global operates as an international B2B marketplace and trade service provider.
Payment procedures depend on the role of ParsaFood Global in each transaction.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, ParsaFood Global is not the seller, payment guarantor, financial institution, escrow agent, or banking service provider.
2. Direct Buyer–Supplier Transactions
Where a Buyer purchases products directly from a Supplier:
- All payment terms are negotiated directly between the Buyer and the Supplier.
- Payments are made directly to the Supplier unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
- ParsaFood Global is not responsible for collecting, holding, transferring, or guaranteeing payments.
- ParsaFood Global assumes no liability for payment disputes, non-payment, delayed payments, or financial losses arising from direct transactions.
3. Transactions Managed by ParsaFood Global
Where ParsaFood Global expressly agrees in writing to act as the Seller or Trading Intermediary, payment terms shall be specified in the quotation, invoice, purchase agreement, or commercial contract.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the standard payment structure is:
- 50% advance payment before production, procurement, or order processing.
- 50% balance payment prior to shipment, loading, or release of shipping documents.
Different payment terms may apply depending on the product, order value, destination, supplier requirements, or negotiated agreement.
4. Accepted Payment Methods
Depending on the transaction, payments may be accepted through:
- International Bank Transfer (SWIFT)
- Wire Transfer
- Letter of Credit (L/C)
- Escrow arrangements (where agreed)
- Other payment methods approved by ParsaFood Global.
Availability of payment methods may vary by country, banking regulations, and applicable laws.
5. Currency
Payments may be requested in one or more currencies, including but not limited to:
- USD (United States Dollar)
- EUR (Euro)
- GBP (British Pound Sterling)
- Other currencies agreed by the parties.
Exchange rate fluctuations are the responsibility of the paying party unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Payment Deadlines
Invoices must be paid within the period specified on the invoice or commercial agreement.
Failure to make payment by the due date may result in:
- suspension of production;
- suspension of procurement;
- shipment delays;
- order cancellation;
- storage charges;
- administrative costs;
- legal recovery proceedings.
7. Banking Charges
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- the Buyer is responsible for all sending bank charges;
- intermediary bank charges;
- currency conversion costs;
- receiving bank fees where applicable.
The full invoiced amount must be received by ParsaFood Global or the Supplier.
8. International Payment Assistance
Where ParsaFood Global assists Clients with international payments, such assistance is provided solely as a commercial facilitation service where legally permitted.
ParsaFood Global does not guarantee:
- banking approval;
- processing times;
- currency exchange rates;
- regulatory approvals;
- successful completion of any financial transaction.
9. Payment Verification
ParsaFood Global reserves the right to verify any payment before:
- confirming an order;
- commencing production;
- arranging shipment;
- releasing shipping documents;
- providing services.
Orders may be delayed pending payment verification.
10. Taxes and Duties
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- prices exclude VAT, GST, sales taxes, customs duties, import taxes, and similar governmental charges;
- the Buyer is solely responsible for all taxes, duties, and governmental fees applicable in the destination country.
11. Fraud Prevention
ParsaFood Global reserves the right to:
- refuse suspicious payments;
- request additional verification documents;
- suspend transactions;
- cancel orders where fraud, money laundering, sanctions violations, or unlawful activity is reasonably suspected.
12. Late Payments
Late payments may result in:
- suspension of services;
- cancellation of orders;
- delayed shipments;
- additional administrative charges;
- legal action where permitted by law.
ParsaFood Global shall not be liable for any losses resulting from payment delays caused by the Buyer.
13. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the separate Refund Policy.
Nothing in this Payment Policy creates an automatic right to receive a refund.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ParsaFood Global shall not be liable for:
- banking delays;
- payment processing failures;
- exchange rate fluctuations;
- intermediary bank actions;
- frozen accounts;
- regulatory restrictions;
- sanctions;
- third-party financial service failures;
- indirect or consequential financial losses.
If liability is established by a final court judgment, the maximum liability of ParsaFood Global shall not exceed the service fees actually received by ParsaFood Global for the specific transaction.
15. Policy Updates
ParsaFood Global reserves the right to amend this Payment Policy at any time.
The revised version becomes effective immediately upon publication on the website.
Continued use of the Marketplace constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
